National Study on the Abuse of Older People

The study provides the most comprehensive evidence to date on the prevalence, nature, impacts and costs of harm experienced by older people in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is a survey of people aged 55 and over living in the community, analysis of linked administrative data, qualitative interviews, research with financial and legal professionals, and analysis of economic and social costs.
