Health and Wellbeing of Older New Zealanders
Information about the study
The Ministry for Social Development has asked AUT to conduct a first-of-its-kind national study with people aged 55 years and older, about their wellbeing and how they are treated by others. The study is funded by the Ministry of Social Development.
The results will be used to improve our understanding of issues faced by older people in New Zealand and support policy development to better meet community needs.
If you are 55 years old or older, you may receive a phone call from Ipsos, sometime between August and November 2024, and be asked to take part in a survey.
You can verify the study by calling 0800 478 783, emailing either policy.research@aut.ac.nz or info-nz@ipsos.com, or visiting the Ipsos website by clicking here. Ipsos will NOT ask for payment or your bank account details.

Approved by the Auckland University of Technology Ethics Committee on 15 August 2024, AUTEC Reference number 24/30.
